DROPZONE Fishing was started by two brothers from Savannah, Georgia, Brian and Gary Woelber. Captain Brian Woelber has been  in the charter business for 9 years in the Savannah area. Gary Woelber grew up crabbing in Savannah and works as a mate on an off-shore boat. Recently Brian has become involved with competitive tournament fishing on the IFA Red Fish Tour. During the tournament season Brian and his team travel to many different fisheries. Gary noticed that while preparing for each trip Brian would bring out the paper charts, mark down the spots he wanted to fish, and then plug as many waypoints as he could stand into the GPS. One day Brian made the comment to Gary ”I wish I had these all on a disk where I could just DROP  them in”. The light switch went on and DROPZONE   was born.
